Rosie decided to have her puppies on Wednesday, February 28th, 2024. We were up most of the night but overall the delivery went well. All the puppies are doing well. Rosie and Cosmo are the proud parents of 6 puppies, 4 black boys, 1 fawn boy, and 1 fawn girl. I can already tell some of these boys are going to be chunky. One of them has the cutest two front paws that are white too. Rosie is a stocky pug who is really calm and easy going. She loves to be with her people. Cosmo has very interesting coloring and a handsome double curled tail. He loves to play and has a higher energy level but this could be because he is still young. He is the poster boy for our logo!

Gidget loves to run and chase the chickens. The chickens are not as fond of this game but get into the spirit of the game by giving her a good run. Oscar loves hugs and he is a higher energy pug. He loves his nap too but needs a good run each day to get his energy out.
Gidget's puppies will go to the vet on April 15th and home after April 28th. 2024.

Peppa chose to deliver first! Peppa and Hank's puppies were born on February 27th, 2024. Although we started out with seven puppies, we have unfortunately lost 3 of them. Although they looked perfectly healty, they were the smallest by birth weight and may not have been developing for as long as the others. We are heartbroken every time we lose some but we know that we do not have power over life and death. We do what we can and we are thankful for the beautiful puppies that we are blessed to care for. Peppa is an excellent mother and she is taking very good care of them. The puppies will go home around April 23, 2024.

So to continue our wild week of puppy births, Coco and Max became the proud parents of seven puppies on Friday, March 1, 2024. Coco did a great job with them. She has 3 fawn girls, 3 black boys, and 1 fawn boy. One of our fawn girls is smaller than the rest but she is eating and snuggling just like everyone else. Coco is a velcro pug; she drops off and picks up the kids from school every day. Max is a lover, not a fighter. He is such a cuddle bug. They are both very laid back so I am expecting these puppies to be easy going although each puppy has their own personality. Max will be retiring this year.
Coco's puppies will be going to the vet on March 11th and home after April 26, 2024.
